Telecom and 5G In order to compete with Jio and Airtel1, Vodafone Idea (Vi) is introducing 5G services in 75 major Indian cities. The company plans to use AI-powered networks and aggressive pricing. To improve the security and efficiency of telecom networks, Jio Platforms, AMD, Cisco, and Nokia are working together to create an Open Telecom AI Platform4. The first cellular provider in Southeast Asia to implement AI-RAN using NVIDIA and Nokia is Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison.
